Games for Change Athens Meetup @ The Gaming Forum 2012

Games for Change (G4C) is a nonprofit organization that has been founded in 2004. G4C is a global advocate for supporting and making games for social impact. As such it facilitates the "creation and distribution of social impact games that serve as critical tools in humanitarian and educational efforts" (G4C).

The 1st Games for Change Athens Meetup is a fact ! It will take place on the 27th of April 2012, at the HUB events (Alkminis 5, Petralona, Athens, Greece). The G4C Athens Meetup will take place at the 1st Gaming Forum 2012 .

A Gaming Workshop !


The 1st Gaming forum is a fact ! It will take place on the 27th of April 2012, in Athens, Greece.

For quite some time we have been discussing about organising a game-related event, where topics ranging from entertainment games, serious games, games for good and games for change, gamification to gaming trends and the strategic positioning in numerous areas (i.e., education, marketing, branding, etc). This networking and information sharing event aims to bring together different gaming actors: individual gamers and game developers, researchers and academics conducting research in the broader area of gaming with entrepreneurs and corporate stakeholders.

The 1st Gaming Forum will involve:
